Louis “Lou” Roskin, 86, beloved husband of Shirley, nee Zamel, for 60 wonderful years; great father of Hal (Lisa) and Corey; devoted son of the late Betty and Hyman Roskin; dear brother of the late Chester (Evelyn), Preston and Eunice (Jack) Parker; adored brother-in-law of Janet (Dr. Leon) Minkoff; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many. Lou was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War, little league baseball coach, condo president, member of the “Elites” football club and so much more. His greatest joy was his family. Lou leaves a legacy of humor and truly lived life by his motto “a day without laughter is a day wasted”. Chapel service Monday 12:15 PM Chapel at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W.
